heart of Leaning Oak Forge is,
obviously, our forge. Besides the one
at right, we use another coal-fired forged
and two gas forges. It is here that
the hot metal takes shape into the
intricate designs we create. |

Though
not as exciting as the forge itself, the
layout table is an important part of both
the design process and the actual
construction of each piece. |
| Then
there are times, especially on larger
creations, that the forge becomes a photo
studio for an evening. Since the
Amaryllis table at the right weighs 750
lbs, photographing it in place seemed the
thing to do. |
