| We
tried several types of metal for the accents
in this panel. For the tablet, we
settle on stainless steel which was heated
to several hundred degrees to get the
coloration we liked. The burning bush
is forged steel, copper, and bronze. (detail) |

After
traveling in the Middle East, some elements
of the design were refined. The
pitcher on the table reflects a design seen
both in museums and in daily use in Jordan.
