| The
installation began with the borders and
rosettes. After taking very exact
measurements, the borders had been cut to
length back at the forge. The
borders were attached to the wall with
concrete screws with hand-forged rivet
heads. |

We
made a template for each panel which marked
the posts that would anchor the section of
the panel to the wall. |
| The
panels are not a continuously joined
piece. Various segments of the panels
were welded together as the design permitted
but each section had to be meticulously
positioned on the wall. |
| Though
self-described as merely the conveyor of the
message and the art-form, the artist is
allowed a moment of exhilaration. |
