the beginning we knew it would be important
to be able to display the entire wall on
site in order to coordinate the design of
each panel. To do this we needed a 16'
x 24' wall. And since we're doing
that, well, we might as well expand the shop
and put in that jib crane we've been
thinking about |

After
being commission to do the project, we made
numerous visits to the church not only to
study the area that would be home to the
gates but also to look for design elements
within the church that may influence the
design of the panels. Afterwards,
we
constructed a set of stairs at the shop to
help with perspective. |
