The church committee overseeing the project made two visits to the forge -  soon after we began in 1998 and again in fall of 2000.

Each visit provided the opportunity to learn and to contemplate

 
Everyone had the chance to get a lesson in metalwork plus a fine Leaning Oak Forge lunch.
