Blacksmithing
|
|
When I travel, I seek out other smiths.
I particularly enjoy seeing the craft being
practiced as it has been for generations. At

| In
1986, I had my first opportunity to study abroad
while attending the First World Congress of Artist
Blacksmiths in Aachen, Germany. It was in
Europe, I feel, that blacksmithing reached its
peak as an art form. For me, seeing the work of
master blacksmiths is definitely inspirational. |

Of course we
have things we can teach also. Here Matt and
I are demonstrating at a conference in the south
